专利摘要:
Two book block guide surfaces (2, 2') are arranged in the flat-link chain or belt conveyor tracks (1, 1'). Each book block guide surface (2, 2') is provided with air jets (3, 3'). A book block (10), consisting of individual sheets or layers, is introduced by book block conveyor means between the book block guide surfaces (2, 2'). The air emerging from the air jets (3, 3') compresses the book block (10) so that the individual sheets or layers of the book block (10) do not slide relative to each other. Even at a high conveying speed, the book blocks (10) move completely without sliding, so that the maximum possible output is achieved in book block processing.
(54) DEVICE FOR CAPTURE OF BOOK BLOCKS one The invention relates to a device for gripping still-bound book blocks consisting of separate sheets or packs, in the main way in glue bonding machines equipped with receiving book blocks and clamping them with a belt conveyor with a chain chain or a belt conveyor. Lamellar belt conveyors and belt belt conveyors are known, collecting between the branches of their lamellar chain or their belts still unbound book blocks and feeding them horizontally through glue bonding stations or other workstations (see DD-43 M 16755, DE-PS 1208289, DD-PS 108954). At the same time, during the insertion of book blocks between the branches of the plate chain or the belts, a mutual shift of individual sheets or packs occurs. Such shifts are particularly caused by the fact that the outer sheets or packs of the inserted non-pressed book blocks are spaced from the inner sheets or packs, which is caused by their pressing in insertion time. This is enhanced by increasing the feed rate. Such shifts later have a negative effect on the quality of book blocks fastened with glue. Therefore, the feed rate should be so small that the shifts remain within acceptable limits. As a result, however, the productivity of the entire machine is significantly reduced. DD-PS 20 044 describes a method in which the supply of working material is carried out in a known manner on air cushions, while simultaneously the second air layer from the side opposite to the surface of the conveyor creates pressing pressure on the working material. In this case, it is a question of a continuous supply of pressed working material on only one conveyor. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the capture of still unbound book blocks consisting of individual sheets or packs fed by a lamellar belt conveyor or a belt conveyor belt, even at a high feed rate, avoiding shifts. in order to achieve the highest possible performance of the device. The goal is achieved by the fact that within the limits, which book blocks are inserted into the lamellar chain conveyor or belt belt conveyor clamping them, a pair of guides of the book block is provided, which in this place is preferably arranged in the form of a cone. By itself in the direction of supplying the book blocks, the distance between the guides of the book blocks is reduced. The blowing nozzles located at the end of these book guide blocks are designed to affect the position of the book block insertion, the provided control of the blow effect during the book block insertion into the plate chain allows the pressure on the book block to be limited. As a result, short-term pressing of the block occurs, preventing the shear of individual sheets or packs. The guides of the book blocks, including the blowing nozzles, can be rearranged in the direction of the surfaces of the book blocks, i.e., to change their mutual distance, and / or in the direction of the chain conveyor belt or belt conveyor, and you can adjust and their taper. By changing their mutual distance, it is possible to adjust the device to different formats of book blocks. For the adjustment itself, already known means are provided. Typically, the guides of book blocks, including blow nozzles, are fed, viewed in the feed direction of the book blocks, against the active nip zone of a belt conveyor with a lamellar chain or belt conveyor belt. However, the design can also be designed so that they, including blowing nozzles, enter the active nip zone of a belt conveyor with a chain chain or a belt conveyor belt. Thereby, the possibility of shifting book blocks when they are inserted into the conveyor is even more excluded. An example of execution. Within the limits in which the book belt conveyor with a chain chain or a belt conveyor 1, 1 embeds bookshelves in only schematically shown, two guideways of the lower units 2, 2 are provided (see Fig. 1). Each guide on the arrival side of the book blocks is located under the corner, and on its surface there are provided | As holes, blowing nozzles 3, Guides 2, 2s with blowing nozzles 3, 3 almost reach the belt conveyor with a chain chain or belt conveyor belt 1.1. For this purpose, they are at an acute angle in the feed direction. In addition, each book block 2, 2 has a reflecting wall on its backside. 4, 4. There is an overlap at the top and bottom, which is why the guide 2.2 with its reflective wall 4, 4 forms the blowing chamber 5, 5. The reflective wall 4, 4 fixes to the holder 7, 7 with screws 6 (see Fig. 2) The holder has a channel 8, 8. The opening 9, 9 connects the channel blowing 8, 8 with a blower chamber 5, 5. A blower channel 8, 8 is connected to a known blower feed, not shown in the drawing. FIG. Figure 2 shows a portion of the guide of the book block 2 provided with blowing nozzles, precisely adjusted according to the book block not shown in the drawing. When the machine is turned on, the blowing air is constantly coming out of the blowing nozzles 3. FIG. 1 this airflow is depicted by small arrows. A book block 10 consisting of individual sheets or packs is inserted by a known feed device (not shown in the drawing) between book book guides 2.2 The air coming out of the blowing nozzles 3, C compresses the already assembled part of the book block 10, thanks to which eliminates the possibility of mutual displacement of individual sheets or packs of the book block 10. In addition, an airbag is formed between the outer sheets of the book block 10 and the guides 2.2 of the book block, which significantly reduces their mutual friction. Due to this, during the insertion into the belt conveyor with a plate chain or belt conveyor belt 1, the book block. 10 runs perfectly aligned and without shifts. This state is ensured, however, and at the moment when the book block 10 falls between the branches. a plate chain or belts of a belt conveyor 1, 1. At the same time, the outer sheets of the book block 10 cannot stand as before, and as a result are displaced. The book unit 10 is thus securely gripped by a lamellar belt conveyor or a belt conveyor belt 1, 1 and an aligned condition.
